Australian Institute of Criminology
An independent institution devoted to the study of crime and criminal justice. A Register of selected crime prevention projects contains a searchable database of over 100 crime prevention efforts undertaken in Australia. Crime prevention series booklets aimed at providing theoretical and practical information on preventing specific crimes are also available.
Jill Dando Institute of Crime Science
The Institute plays a pivotal role in bringing together politicians, scientists, designers and those in the front line of fighting crime to examine patterns in crime, and to find practical methods to disrupt these patterns.
Home Office Crime Reduction (UK)
An organization dedicated to information, ideas and experience to prevent and reduce crime in public and private sectors. Crime Reduction Toolkits contain information, advice, and strategies designed to guide police agencies in dealing with specific problems. Existing crime prevention efforts are available in a searchable Knowledgebase. Several publications containing information about problem solving policing are also available.
Design Against Crime (DAC) Research Centre (UK)
Provides papers and presentations on the "5 Is" : Intelligence, Intervention, Implementation, Involvement and Impact, offered by Paul Ekblom as a "second generation SARA" model for researching the conjunction of crime and opportunity.
Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC)
LISC helps resident-led, community-based development organizations transform distressed communities and neighborhoods into healthy ones – good places to live, do business, work and raise families. By providing capital, technical expertise, training and information, LISC supports the development of local leadership and the creation of affordable housing, commercial, industrial and community facilities, businesses and jobs and helps neighbors build communities. Solving crime and disorder problems is an important focus of LISC's work.

International Centre for the Prevention of Crime (Canada)
An international non-governmental organization created with the mission of assisting cities and countries to reduce crime and disorder. Technical assistance and crime prevention publications are available.
International CPTED Association
An international organization dedicated to crime prevention by environmental design. Publications are available at CPTED Resources. CPTED will be publishing an online journal of completed case studies beginning in 2003.

National Institute of Justice
The U.S. Department of Justice's research agency. Site contains publications on crime prevention and other criminal justice issues.
International Association of Chiefs of Police
A nonprofit organization of police executives dedicated to advancing the science of policing through the exchange of information. Numerous publications, technical assistance, and model police policies are available.
Hampshire Constabulary (UK)
Click on "Policing Purpose" then click on "PRIME" (Problem Resolution in Multi Agency Environments). Provides an excellent model for POP project management.
Center for Court Innovation
The Center disseminates the lessons learned from innovative programs, helping criminal justice practitioners around the world launch their own problem-solving experiments.
