Marcus Felson

Marcus Felson is distinguished professor emeritus of criminal justice at Texas State University. He has authored or co-authored “Social Change and Crime Rate Trends: A Routine Activity Approach” (1979), Crime and Nature (2006), Crime and Everyday Life (2014), and many other journal articles and books. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago, and his master’s and doctorate degrees from University of Michigan, all in sociology.
